Michaela Kurtz, LMFTA
I’m a believer that healing and growth happen within safe, meaningful relationships.
Much of the way we understand ourselves and connect with others is shaped through our experiences with family, partnership, and the many transitions we move through over the course of life. I work closely with individuals and families navigating the emotional complexity of relationships and personal change. Through this work, I’ve come to deeply appreciate how layered our stories can be and how much courage it takes to slow down and explore them. My therapeutic approach is relational, attachment-based, and trauma-informed.
Clients often tell me they appreciate that I bring both warmth and honesty into the therapy room. My style is attuned, thoughtful, and grounded, while also leaving room for humor and the very real humanity that comes with being a person navigating a complicated world.
At the heart of my work is the belief that when people feel truly seen and understood, meaningful change becomes possible.
